I think the string loop was just starting to get warn is all.......
Sounds like I better stay with the string loop just make sure I switch it out after I use it for a period of time.
Not all loop material is created equal.
BCY loop material is
excellent. Very wear resistant, fairly stiff and does not stretch at all once tied. Very very good stuff.
Brownell low creep material is awesome. It's
extremely wear resistant and very slick for a very clean release. It is the best I have ever used but is thin diameter and very flexible so you must have the proper release to use it. A TruBall dual caliper release will let this material slip through. A Scott dual or single caliper release will hold it fine. This stuff is perfect for a release that uses a hook like a Scott silverhorn or TruBall Beast or a back tension release when you have to rotate your hand coming to full draw. I prefer thismaterial above anything I have tried to date.
Brownell standard loop material is decent and provides decent wear resistance and melts well though it stretches a little.
PSE loop material is pretty good stuff. Wear resistant, stiff and melts well.
The crap you get from Allen is absolute junk.
