Keep an eye around berry bushes if any of the berrys are on them. You can see where the bears have trampled over them. The best time to watch around these bushes normally is just before dark. (early evening) Do you have any hardwoods with nuts falling on the ground? They normally hit them as well to put the wieght on before winter hits. This is hard to hunt as they can slip in and out of this stuff pretty quickly. Also keep an eye out for old logs that were ripped a part. Bears love to rip them a part to get to the ants in them. They also make a scent that will help draw the bears out. I am not sure what it is called as I do not hunt for bears. Any ways good luck to you.
