Actually, we have some of the biggest bears in the nation. PA is 3rd overall in B&C and we tag MANY 600+ pound bears every year. If you look at the Boone and Crockett list of the top 10 all-time records, Pennsylvania bears are in the No. 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8 spots. I believe we are also tied for 1st pace with a Cali. bear.
Extreme rarity for these large bears and only in the last 10 years have people been seeing these in Pott county isn't it. On average, I think PA bears are 175-200lbs.
