Hunting season is the highlight of the year. I always look forward to the hunt as well as the meat in the freezer. We are a family of 10 so I try to get quite a few deer ( usually around 8 or 10). Archery Antelope starts August 21st, then Sept 11th 2 of my boys have mentor tags so i hope to help them take a doe each. They are 10 and 12, so it is a first for them, Sept 25th I start Archery deer( I will be trophy hunting and meat hunting ), October a Wildlife Refuge deer hunt( meat hunt), Then the wife and I hunt for doe( meat hunt) , Nov is rifle season but I use a scoped muzzy. The wife and I both have tags for that,( it is a trophy and meat hunt) then Dec is Blackpowder season the wife and I both have tags, that runs til Jan 31st 2011, ( That is a trophy or meat hunt depending on how things have went) so come next month between bow and rifle and muzzy I get 5 months of hunting. My schedule allows me to go as often as i want and on any day that I choose. I can hardly wait .
