I took 9 fox off our property last year.along with 14 coons,6 possoms,and 5 cats.
I use the cheapest sardines in oil I can find,mix with cheap seafood cat food,add a tube of saltine crackers(makes it go farther).I use live traps and they work well.as was said you will get a lot of coons and cats.
If it is closed land,set the traps along an old road.put it in the brush with the mouth of the trap out toward the road.
That works well for me. good luck.
