Semisane...I'm thinking the same about that 300 Hornady...The problem is, I can't find any more...I just emailed Hornady to see when they were going to make another batch...

I'm also thinking of ordering some of those 270gr Gold Dots in .430...They are a soft point, but I suspect that would also be a great bullet...

I'm trying to go with a higher BC so they will shoot a bit flatter and penetrate better...I'm just not sold on that .452 Hornady in 250gr at say, 150 yards...

I'm in NC and in the woods, typical ranges run 30-60 yards, no problem there...But, our 3 farms all have soybeans this year and I will take a 150 yard shot, but I limit myself to that...

I'll shoot them a bit more before the season, I'm just going to need to make a decision on the Hornady 300s or the Gold Dot 270s...Or even those .452 250gr Hornadys...I'm betting I can tighten that group up, just not sure of pass throughs down range with 80grs of powder...
