Yes it was a fun day. There are a few big heads, and I think a few more silvers. There is no competition for food yet and they are pretty fat. This far north there are just no big numbers yet. We found a large school of 30-40 but they were all small in the 5 pound range. There are a lot more nice grassies to be had at this time. The wabash river right now is my favorite place to shoot. There are all the species and good size and no competition. I have yet to see another boat. This time of the year the scum is piling up on structure and the fish swim up under it and become' real scum suckers'. If you cant see them you sure can hear them. Just aim just under any disturebance to be seen and let'er go.
