That IS the proposal beginning next year. I personally think it is a great idea. Our gun seasons have been way too long. 32 days is way to much pressure on the bucks in farm country. There is absolutely no reason, other than our long firearms season, that Indiana cannot produce the same class of trophy animals that our neigbors, Illinois and Ohio, produce year after year. The antlerless only seasons are being added in order to reduce the doe population, another step in producing more trophy bucks. About the only other change I would have like to have seen was extending the bow season thru the end of January. This, of course, is just my opinion.
