The Imperfection of the First Time
The first time is always the worst time. I don't care how well the instructions are on most products, there is something missing or not made clear to the newbie. My backyard has been the testing ground for the tree stand, tent setup and will see the next trail cam.
I'll test the trail cam on the dog and save time finding out the ins and outs in the field.
Recently I made some homemade "candle wicks". First time, instructions, should have been easy. Wrong!!!!! Had to make them a second time. The instructions had one word, without any emphasis. They should have underlined the one word. That made all the difference in the world.
I just was interrupted to fix a hand soap dispenser. The operation at first was as clear as mud. Like a lot of first time stuff.
