I have killed a few does with osage selfbow and IPE/boo bow. I have made 6 bows. Two broke. Best performer is IPE bow.

Both shoot well. My ipe bow shoots 160fps with 500gr arrow. I have gotten total penetrations.

A few problems with selfbows or non fiberlgass bows. Being strung for more than 2-3 hours can cause weak flight. Just the nature of the beast. Also cause permenant "set"

YOu don't see me string my bow until I am up in the tree. And I unstring immediately getting out.

Here is a few I have done.

This one is almost finished. I pray it stays together.
