1. First off are you practicing with your broadheads before darting out to the woods?
2. Have you ever killed a deer, other then with a bow, how many have you missed, really?
3. If you are missing so much, maybe you need to start learning how to relax, breath, focus, think about something else, aim and then release.
4. The best solution might be to just stop bow hunting all together (before the season starts), you might owe that to the animals you are shooting at.

This might sound harsh, but just think of the 2 deer that probably suffered from your bad shooting. Now think about how many more you could have wounded before even wounding the last 2.

Moral of the rant, If you are not respecting the animal enough not to put a proper shot on them because of blamming equipment issues on someone else, not taking your time and/or maybe not enough broadhead practicing, then you should not be out there in the woods with your bow. IMO
Yeah.. Thats what he needs.. Way to encourage a fellow hunter..

While Kreagerm is correct on the points he makes... He could still be a bit more tactful. We call those checks on our gear in the military PCCs (pre-combat checks). By all means they should be done EVERY time you go out. That said.. Keep your chin up and keep tryin. Keep practicing (especially shooting from an elevated position simulating shooting from a stand) and make sure you can make that shot when it's time. #1 tip that everyone will give you, keep an eye on the wind.

I went 4 years without a deer because I chose to pass on shots or just plain didn't see any deer where I could get a shot or whatever. I stuck with it and was rewarded for my patience. You'll get there.
