i hunted this unit 2 years ago during the rifle season, we came home empty handed due to an early snow that left over 3 feet. My dad and I are going out there the first full week of september to chase elk and mulies (the deer are huge in this area even with the snow we saw a deer that we sized over 200 in. but the season was out). There should be plenty of elk to pursue this season as long as mother nature doesent present her challenges.... LOL.

Also 92 has no wilderness areas so you will be fine with out a guide.
