Corn, put 100 pounds or so in an area in the edge of the woods in an area that you have a clear camera shot. Make sure there are no limbs or bushes that would catch a picture when the wind blows. Leave it out for at least 3 weeks before you re-enter the area. I usually carry another 50 pounds and another chip and do a quick change out. An established mineral lick with trace mineral salt and Di-Cal is also good in the summer months, but it takes longer for the deer to start using it a lot.
