I recently took these photos of a discontinued
.45 caliber CVA Firebolt UltraMag 209 rifle that
was on clearance. It has a 26 inch barrel with
a 1 in 28" twist. The stock was solid and
comfortable and even has a cheek piece. It
shouldered like a fine Remington or Winchester
bolt action rifle and even the trigger let off
was really crisp. This leftover model is probably
a few years old and CVA listed a #11 breech
plug as being available for it too.
Whatever the price, sometimes a nice stock makes
a big difference for a rifle to really stand out.
Has anyone ever shot one of these Firebolts
or another similar .45 with a 1 in 28" twist?
