To me it's taking pride in what your capable of doing and 99% of the time do it better than the factory can produce for you. It is fun to have a new rifle and a new set of dies to play with building the best optimal load for each individual rifle. It's more than just a past time, it's doing your best and coming out ahead of the competition. I'm a firm believe in the reloading bench over the gun smith when it comes to minor accuracy problems.
