My 10 year old son has completed his hunter safety course and passed with flying colors. He has also received his deer tags for the upcoming Illinois gun season. I purchased a nice, used 870 in 20 gauge for him. I have it outfitted with a factory, rifled slug barrel, Speed Feed synthetic stock in youth size and a 2.5 power scope sitting on a BSquare scope mount. I know we will need to try several different slugs, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Gun is chambered for 2 3/4 only. Local guy here recommended the Lightfield Sabots. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
