I just handled and shot a XD40 for the first time yesterday when i was delivering one to a customer of mine that had purchased one from my online gun store ( http://www.RMPrecision.net ). The Gun was EXTREMELY easy and well built. Makes holding a Glock seem like a "toy". It shot VERY accurately and had a NICE feel to the recoil, kinda like a smooth slide action instead of the normal "jerky" recoil you get with most sub-compacts or glocks.

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that the XD is the "glock" of the future!
