If it's Hoyt you like than I would take a look at the Carbon Matrix.... that baby is absolutely incredible!!! The best feeling bow Hoyt has ever manufactured. The only reason that baby isn't dominating the industry on sales is because of it's $1,300 price tag. Man, it is awesome!!! You can also looks at the Maxxis but in my opinion there are several different bows from other manufacturers that feel and shoot better than it.
Obviously, you should make a trip to a couple Pro Shops and shoot as many different bows as you can and you will find a couple that just stand out in your hands. I would look at the Hoyts mentioned abaove and also consider the Mathews Z7 and the BowTech Destroyer. Also, if you have an Elite or Strother dealer near you you will want to take a look at them as well.
I looked at and shot dozens of different 2010 bows before deciding on the Mathews Z7 based on it's combo of smoothness, speed and ultra steady in-the-hand feel.
