A .530 ball with a .005 patch should load very easy, with very little resistance. So you need to measure where your resistance is at.
Head - I agree. I have a 50 cal Traditions. A 490 ball with a .005 patch loads very easily. I took the same logic when choosing the ball size for the Lyman.
