Default RE: Deer food plots?

hondaman,
We have a fourty west of Antigo( between Antigo & Merril). Just planted a 1/4 acre plot 6 weeks ago(begining of the drought). Planted Bio-logics clover & Maximum ( Brassica). The plot is growing, but not as well as expected with out rain. However the maximum in our exclusion gage is 8" - 10" tall the rest of the field is eaten to about 1" -2" tall. Opening day I seen several deer in the field at the end of shooting. We are not hunting the field but I had to see if they were there. [>:]If you do a soil test, lime and fertalize my money is on the Bio-Logic. And they are not supose to like this stuff until a good frost. We already have plans to increase the plot size.
