about flyers using power belt bullet
I tried the powerbelt bullets in my 50 @ 54 ca. m/l and for some strange reason I all ways had a flyer in a group of 3 to 4 shots some flyers were about a 10 inch difference on paper at the 100 yard target it will drive you to drink
I start thinking is it me ,or the scope turn out to be the powerbelts
The bullet I use now are made by percision and the flyers are gone for good
Another outlook is going to loose powder I like pyrodex select and also think there is only so much you can get out of the gun to burn powder I would say anything past 120 grains of select is going out of the barrel unburn and have to give credit to those guy' s who shoot a 100 grains of triple 777 my max. load with triple 777 is 75 grains.
recoil with a 100 grains of triple 777 has to be sharp and I do not favor recoil.What I would recommend is clean the m/l really well j@b bore cleaner compound change to loose powder start at the midrage powder charge spit patch between shots then a dry patch ,change bullets maybe to percision sabot and see what happens if all still fails I would send the gun back to the manufacture.good luck guy' s
