Made it out Sat. morning. One deer tried to sneek through. He would have if he wouldn' t of made so much noise. It was nice to be out again and away from it all. Amazing how fast I can sleep in a stand
. Took my 7 year old out Sat. evening with me. He said we had to go no matter what. Put our rain suits on! We were in the stand only 5 minutes when mom and the kid hung out by us for a half hour. Didn' t sit until closing due to the fact of rain!! One of the guys who comes to the shop shot a nice 6 in full velvet. After he shot the buck two coyotes came up and checked out the arrow stuck in the ground. Now there is one
. It' s still raining this morning, that' s why I' m here instead of in the woods. Hopefully this afternoon. Gotta hunt!
