I am adjusting the die down until it puts alittle preasure on the shell holder, so it can't be adjusted lower. It's a full length sizing die. I heard that I may have to use a small base die, is this a die with tighter tolerances than a standard die? The specs. in my reloading manuals say the base should be .470 for the 30-06. I think that I will just get some new brass and try that. Havn't got any factory rounds to fire, just measured one my buddies unfired factory rounds at the base and it was .465. Thats why I'm thinking that new brass would be the same as the factory round. Zeak
