Ok, I confess I did it once and it was before deer season. I had climbed a permanent stand and had a 1/2 pint of 101 proof southern comort. It was a month before the season started, it was a cool evening, and I just had an itching to get in the woods and I' m not sure why I carried the alcohol but I did and I drank it. I was single at the time and alot younger and was probably drinking too much and having too much fun at that time in my life. Anyway, as fate would have it, when it came time to get down, I fell about 12 feet, landed on my back and knocked the breath out of me. I thought I was killed but as luck would have it, I was just stupid. I didn' t have a gun or anything but it was still a stupid thing to do and a lesson I shouldn' t have had to learn was learned.
