well everybody has just about covered the list of makes , so i' ll just add the browning long action model 81 blr in .270 caliber to the list , it' s a great rifle , i' ve got one ,

and i' ll also attest to the savage bolt action , it' s one of the most accurate out of the box rifles you can get for the money
