The ramrod thing would tick me off, especially at the price those Blue Ridge rifles go for. If I were otherwise happy with the gun I would just fix it myself and save the long drive. But I suspect you're generally unhappy with the gun (buyer's remorse?). If that's the case, it's worth the drive to return it and get something you feel good about.
