Very reasonably priced, super accurate, and the smoothest action I' ve ever seen. With it' s accuracy levels, and the inherant accuracy of the .270, there' s no reason you can' t get one and it be a tack driver once you find the ammo that it likes.

Browning
Always had good luck with Browning A-Bolts. Very nice rifles and usually very accurate out of the box. Especially with the new BOSS system they have.


Remington

Only experience I' ve had with them is bad. There' s are thousands out there that love theirs.


Winchester

Pretty much like the Brownings now. Even have the BOSS system on them.


Howa

Very nice for the money. Accurate and reliable.



There' s a few more out there too that are very nice rifles. Only you can decide which you like. Go to several stores, pick them up, hold them, (don' t drool too much, they don' t like that), work the actions, and if permitted by the owner (won' t hurt the guns), try out the trigger. Make your decision based off your gut instincts.
