You might want to double check your measurement on the left G2 as well. It sure looks longer than 6 1/8" to me. It looks at least an inch or two longer than the G3 on that side and you are showing it as 6 7/8".

P.S. - If it is less than 1" it isn't a point. Abnormal or otherwise.
