Mordecaia, I never really thought of that as clockwise/counterclockwise adjustment but I see your point and see how that could be the case. If that is the case your screws are likely to be right hand thread....to move your pin to the left you should turn the knob counter clockwise, unscrew, turn backwards, LEFTY LOOSY!
