Another possibility this time of year for toms and hens too is
they will appear to be strutting but they are trying to keep warm.
We use to raise turkeys of all breed, the toms and the hens would walk around or stands dead still all puffed up. Just another possibility is all.
We had a couple warmer days a couple weeks ago. While we were skeet shooting, everytime we would shoot a turkey would gobble at us.lol thought is was funny
