Nim - That' s a pretty nice looking animal - a little deformed, but nice! Congratulations on a great animal! With the big knob. . .er, ball, or whatever in front of his left ear, you should have been able to sneak right up on him from that side - LOL! Holy smokes, that grizzly sounded bound and determined to put tooth marks on some of your equipment!! [

SEAK - That is one heck of a picture of your daughter and her buck! Congratulations to the both of you - that' s going to be some fine, mild-tasting eating - taken this time of the year. I saw a nice forkie on the beach above Halibut Cove on North Shelter last week, but all I could throw at it were obscene gestures since I left the rifle at home. BTW, that sticks and strings goose shooting sounds like a lot of fun - keep up the good work! What kind of tips are you using to bring them down?
ABM - I feel sorry for you being down in Vegas and we' re up north here having fun killing critters and tantalizing you with stories and pictures. With any luck there will still be some geese around when you get back up there. Sounds like you have some good hunts planned for later down south. I' ve got a son-in-law chasing elk in Oregon right now, and I' m hoping he connects so I can swap for an elk roast or two!
