I understand what you are saying and agree completely. I'm quoting what Gary Reeder claims with his new cartridge the 455GNR does. Quote " the 455 GNR will produce the same ballistics are the 454 with less recoil, how I don’t know. Again, I understanding what you are saying and it gives me something to ask Gary Reeder. Now, about out performing, the 455GNR has 8% more case capacity which stands to reason you should be able get a little more out of it, and yes with more recoil. It’s not the recoil I am really concerned with. I would like to get a little more out of the cartridge and was asking not for ballistic theory particularly but rather in actuality. Like from someone that has loaded and shot the 455GNR.
