This will be my first year turkey hunting. I have a SuperNova and need some help understanding various chokes. I was told the Briley .655 would be a good choice for lead and the Briley .665 for hevi-shot. After doing some reading I see the Pure Gold .670 also getting great reviews. And even the Jelly Head .655 was getting solid reviews.

So here is my question. What does the constriction number really mean and how is different shot type/size effected by the various constrictions.

Any help clarifying this would be great and if anyone has a supernova which choke/shot did you find worked the best.
