That is because people don't know how to press them properly. This was addressed a while back and was not a problem with the limbs, but a case of either the wrong press being used or incorrect pressing.

The Drenalin is my 3rd Mathews and I've had no issues with it or any of the other Mathews I've owned. I've also been fortunate enough to not have any issues with the 3 BowTechs, 1 Bear, 1 Golden Eagle, 1 High Country, 1 Merlin, and 1 Hoyt that I've owned.

Needless to say, I'm not a fanboy of any manufacturer.
