Anything in life he can buy his way out of he will. He pays someone to change his oil. He buys ready made Christmas trees out of plastic, he pays someone to put in a new breaker panel. He even pays someone to mount his scopes, pays someone to tune his bows, pays someone to assemble his fletchings. Pays someone to catch his MD blue crabs, even pays someone to steam them. Even pays someone to butcher his deer. If he can buy his way out of something, he will do it.
He just can't understand why I take such pains to make the straightest most accurate ammo I can. He doesn't understand why I build my own longbows and take such pride in it. He just doesn't understand why I do my own work on scoots/cars, etc. Or what I get out of going on the bay and catching my own crabs. Or why I would take 5-6hours butching a deer to my own liking (no fat or silverskin). You know I made up my mind years ago, never to try to understand a guy like him and don't expect him to understand a guy like me. We are breed apart.
You know something my grandfather told me before he died stuck with me. Ain't nuttin in life easy worth a darn. He is right.
