I love my 1100 for hunting some of the thicker stuff for grouse as they do a lot of zig zagging going threw the thick stuff. I also like my single shot 410 for more open areas and for wood****.. As wood**** fly pretty straight once they hit the top of the alder bushes.. So it all depends on what you are hunting and what kind of areas you are hunting in..
