Are these birds migratory? I haven't heard of that many together in a group around here; only in the summer and then they go south. We have blackbirds; some with red or yellow on the arm band. Were they flocking heading more south or are they like that naturally?
I figure if they are like that naturally, the deer should be more use to it by now, but if they are migratory, the deer wouldn't be use to it and would get them uneasy.
Deer don't mind turkeys too much and they are a blackbird. LOL!

Its a seasonal thing. I live in North Alabama and this time of year it is a common. but only for this time of year. You can hear the darn things coming from a mile away. This was by far the most I've ever seen though. They were swarming all around me and every time they made a quick turn it almost sounded like a big thud from all there wings catching the air at the same time. It almost sounded like a jets afterburners. I was pretty amazed as four different groups came together right in the area of my stand.
