Wonewoc is just over the line in Juneau county. I have hunted there for 10 years. There are some dandy bucks around if you get in some of the better spots.

Papadave, you are correct about the deer being built differently in the hill country. They seem to be shorter in body length and have barrel chests and smaller hind quarters. They can zip around those hills like nobody's business!!
