You are correct - if you got your Vision from SG it came with the new plug. I had Grouse's (Vision) here setting it up for him. All I shot in it was BH and it did not have any problems, but I was using a Cheddite 209 primer and CCI-209M.

I think you will only need to move to a hotter primer + build yourself a 'drill stick' to clean the flash channel every so often.
