or just soak them to get the worst off? Will my threads have less fouling?
I soak them in white vinegar and water - cleans them up pretty decently...
If you teflon tape your BP and snug it up on the barrel flange your threads will come out very clean... You will need a small brush or a bristle bore brush to pull the teflon out of the threads when you pull your BP...
