Default RE: Jack Brittingham on Texas Trophy Hunters

Spoken like a true gentleman cardeer, here here. I hunted twice in 99 on a 45,000acre section of The Encinitos Ranch deep in south TX and while not fenced, like car said, you rarely ever even got close enough to the border of a place that big to even see a fence. One border was 12 miles long just to give you some idea of the scale a place like that is, the " short side" was 3 miles long. When you spend the kind of money some folks do on big bucks, you would be a fool NOT to protect them. Do you know what the biggest expense landowners down there have? Damage from illegal aliens cutting their way across the south TX landscape.

I suspect that most of the " hard feelings" for such places are simply from those who would really like to do a hunt like these, but dont have the money. Thats just simple childish jealousy IMHO,
