I use a Neet Cordovan tab. Very durable, thick enough to protect your fingers, but thin enough to feel the string. It doesn't have one of those no-pinch thingies on it, which I love about it. If I don't get it right at the fingertips, my fingers get pinched. I accidently left mine in my pants pocket, and it got washed. I found it, shot it while it was still wet. I like it even better.
I have a calf hair tab, but it is a bit to thin, floppy and a tad bit to large. I bought it to shoot with gloves on. Works well for that purpose. Very very slick.
Haven't shot a glove for a while.
