Sorry Doug but disgree - Permethrin is a dangerous chemeical - it is a synthectic insecticide. Always read the units Application Directions. You don;t and use it wrong that becomes your fault.
Be carefull with it.
Why on clothes and not on human skin - go look at the toxicology reports written on it.

Thanks for bringing that up JW. I've had a bad experience with chemicals at my workplace and don't want to go through it again.That brings me to this. They say not to apply Permethrin directly to the skin,but just your clothes. They also claim,even after daily washing of your clothes,the chemical will stay in your clothes for a week to ten days. If that's so,my concern would be. The chemical in the clothes,next to your skin. While wearing the treated clothes you work up a sweat. When you do,this opens the pores in your skin.
Can your body absorb the chemical this way?
