Wounded deer don't typically blow. If you got the vitals, you should find your deer within a couple hundred yards I would think. If you don't find it, and since you said it went high....you likely had a backstrap hit, in which case its probably still alive. I would definitely search where you heard the yotes...they seem to find em pretty quick in some areas. Good luck, keep us posted.
