This isn't a huge deal as some states allow crossbow use but since WI does not allow it, unless you have a disabled or elderly permit for it, the law is the law and is still illegal. An anonomis tip to the warden would be the best suggestion in this case. Since it sounds like the whole family does it I'm sure the warden would love to make a couple stake outs and have a look see on their property after he watches them go out hunting some day.
