I'm on my second Ameristep hub blind (because my first one blew down a hill in a storm). Do yourself a favor and buy some extra pole tips from Ameristep's website. I have broken quite a few of them while setting them up and taking them down. When one breaks, it beomes a real pain. They sell a 20 pack for $20. I emailed Ameristep about the problem and they said that they have made the new tips a little stronger. It's cheap insurance and may save a lot of frustration to have a couple of extras with you. To their credit, they returned my email promptly and sent me a pack of tips at no charge.
