Blue Bird take it from someone with plenty of experience with clotting. Take a full strength aspirin every time you go in the woods. Once you have a clot especially one that was not quickly treated you will be prone to them again in the future. Aspirin reduces both clotting frequency and the severety of clots when they do occur. The fatality rate from Pulmenary Embolis is nearly 50% so avoiding the clot in the first place is critical. If a clot happens again I would ask your Dr if a Greenfield filter is a good idea. It will eliminate PEs in the future.
