ahhahahaa you do know moose arent considered dangerous right???? the biggest moose ive seen killed was by a 6.5x55 sweed and it melted it in its tracks at 40 yds. my sister shot that moose when she was 12. it dressed 932. my mom shot one w/ a damned old 308 leg breaker that weighed 911lbs and that one went about 20 yds. it was shot w/ a 150gr corelokt @ 275 yds.
my grandfather shot one w/ a 220 gr 06 at 10 yds but that was butt the ear and as you might suspect that one dropped instantly too. ive yet to be drawn but if i were ide take either one of my whelens or one of my .350's w/ either a 225 nosler PT or a 250 hornady interlock RN
