The 454 Casull in the Super Redhawk is a nice gun. I had the 7 1/2" . There was a problem with it and Ruger swapped it out. I wanted the 9 1/2" instead of the 7 1/2". The problem I had and why Ruger exchanged it was the scope rings made bad cuts(indentations) in the frame .Ruger agreed there was a problem and made the exchange.Soarkrebel shop around. Prices vary allot on these guns. Retail is 745.00. I have seen them from 559.00 up to almost 700.00.It's nice being able to shoot the 45 Colt for practice.I haven't reloaded for mine yet. I have been shooting 454Casull Win 250 gr JHP's.They shoot well. I hope to reload for it soon and get a accurate load worked up.I'm sure you will be happy with the SRH.When you get yours email me and I will send you the correct way to install these rings. A friend works for Ruger,told me the correct way.Ruger has had many complaints about these rings.
