I shoot a .270 with 150 grain bullets and I have it sighted in for dead on at 100 yards. The majority of my shots for whitetails are 50 to 150 yards. The .270 is a pretty flat shooting rifle so if you are dead on at 200 yrds, you should be shooting about an inch high at 100 yards. Either way, if you are aiming where you should be, an inch either way isn't going to make much of a difference, its a dead deer no matter how you look at it.
